Breed: Clydesdale X Norwegian Fjord
Sire: Champion of the Glen
DOB: 16 November 2001
If we said that Frederica was naughty, well, Bailie takes the cake! He knows how to open stables, throw food dishes at fellow horses, and very rarely behaves himself under saddle or in hand. He looks like a miniature Clydesdale. He was only 1 of 2 of his kind living in South Africa. This gave us bragging rights, after all, there aren't many Norwegian Fjord's in SA, if any at all. My daughter, Kayla, and Bailie are absolutely best friends, and are inseparable. She has done normal hacking, cross country, jumping, and dressage with Bailie. He's not a fan of dressage but absolutely loves cross country. He is very spirited and has a constant supply of energy, except when it comes to doing what he's supposed to. He has made a new friend here in Canada, our little dog Rascal, whom we saved in Mauritius. They are always kissing and cuddling. Rascal even rides. Bailie spends most of his days grazing in the paddock with Pericleas, in South Africa it would be considered very unusual for a gelding to be friends with a stallion. They plan to grow old together.
